Why we created the endowment
Ánadröm was founded with the objective to give back to the rivers that anadromous species and anglers depend upon on. The Anadromous Endowment is our long-term commitment to that mission. Its purpose is to become, over time, an additional source of funding for the conservation and research efforts needed to anadromous species.

How it works
10% of every sale funds the Endowment
- That is regardless of profit – not what’s left over.
- This includes sales to customers as well as businesses.
The fund is invested to grow over time
- The money is invested with the goal of growing the capital base over time.
- The Endowment is managed with the goal of building a lasting, self-sustaining source of conservation funding.
- We are just getting started, but that is the vision.
5% is distributed annually to support conservation
- Each year, at least 5% of the fund’s value is donated to charities and projects working on conservation and research efforts related to anadromous species.
- As the Endowment grows, our goal is to also support impact investments – leveraging the money invested to also finance solutions that benefit anadromous species, rivers, and local communities.

We’ll provide updates as distributions are made, as we are just beginning this work, but we are hoping to support groups whose organizations align with ours – in Canada and beyond.
