Description

A staple across Québec and Eastern Canada, the Black Bear Green Butt finds its origins in the 1920s Black Bear pattern by Harry Smith of Maine. The addition of fluorescent green floss gave rise to this enduring variation – now widely known as the “Green Butt” while others call it the Conrad. Its strong contrast and more natural appearance make it a reliable choice in low, clear summer water when fish are more selective, while larger versions perform well in higher waters early and late in the season.

Equip yourself with Atlantic salmon flies, finely tied in Quebec with purpose – 10% of every sale funds the Anadromous Endowment.
